I'm very thankful to God "Almighty" for giving me the opportunity to be born and raised (2nd generation Filipino-American) in this blessed nation. No, this nation isn't perfect, but I'm very thankful for what I've been bless with (e.g. freedom of worship, job opportunities, ethnically diverse nation, etc...)-halleluah!
"This is a timely pic I took as the sun was going to set behind the American flag while visiting
a local horticulture garden (was taking pics of our state flower) in Morris, Minnesota. As a
Filipino-American (1st generation), whose grandfather survived as a cook in one of the prison
camps in the Philippines. When I see the U.S. Flag, I'm reminded how I should be grateful to God
(1st) for using America to help liberate my parent's country from Japanese occupation. I try to
constantly remind myself how I'm blessed and thankful to God to live in this blessed nation of
ours. I want to show my gratitude by doing my part in "making a difference" in this country and
the nations around us daily. May peace and love reign here and around the world!"
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."-2 Chronicles 7:14-16
